Re: Complete LS into a 94 DX swap guide (madhatter07)
if the motor/tranny is from a 94-95 integra, it should be a direct swap. No extra wires will be need. You can your stock or b18b1 harness. it will be a plug and play

what if its a civic Si tranny? also im kind of embarrased to ask this but how the hell does the transmission hook up to the driveshaft and please do not make fun of me for that, i am trying to gain experience by doing the swap myself so give me a little credit

No driveshaft. Just axles, they go in the holes on the sides of the tranny. Pass side is the longer axle, shorter one is driver side.

unless you have a custom RWD/AWD civic, you dont have to worry about the driveshaft. You will need 94-01 integra or 99-00 civic si axles and shift linkage. The b16-hydro tranny and b18b1 motor will bolt right in.

edit also:
how do the wires from the engine get down to the ECU?</TD></TR></TABLE>
The wires are already there....the engine wiring harness "plugs" into the chassis harness which then plugs into your ecu. There is a set of gray plugs on the left side of your engine bay which leads through the firewall to the ecu.....
