I always get an alignment done when ever I remove/replace anything concerning the suspension cause tires aren't cheap an could possibly mess something up down the road

Amen, the last one I changed out was so far out, the car drove awful till I got it to alignment shop.

All of this he said she said bullshit needs to stop.
Nobody cares if you did or didn't get an alignment, so don't reply with YES YOU NEED IT or NO MY ALIGNMENT WAS FINE!
The bottom line is that you will be removing the rear trailing arm thus upsetting your current alignment. You do no need an alignment, nobody really does, but getting one will make you car handle better, your tires will last longer and your car will drive straight.

Don't removeb the toe componsator from the car!, un-bolt from trailing arm. This way the alignment doesn't change.
It wouldn't hurt to get one, but isn't required if you unbolt that arm from car
