can i put a 96 lx ELD($10) in a 99 ex?? the part numbers are different so im posting to see if anyone knows about it..the reason i want to try this is because my alternator is acting weird on me..its charges the battery when there is a load(operating power windows),lights on, off the gas and going above 40mph..it seems to not charge on the gas below 40mph..my alternator plug is also partial melted and doesn't lock in(have a new one)..my only 2 options are replacing ELD and Alt. plug..im also on my 4th reman alternator in 1.5 years..any help or knowledge would be helpful..thanks
