Car rev limit
It’s a 99 civic si for starters the car drives fine when I first start it and drive but when I turn it off then turn it on even if it is 5 minutes the car will not past 4K rpm it’s not in limp mode it’s on hondata s300 v3 but the vtec solenoid is bad so I’m not sure if that’s because of Vtec but after like 5 minutes of driving it will let me pass 4K it’s weird

Monitor the ECT temp when the engine is stone cold before you start and after it warms up and wont start, Might need to change the sensor.
