Can i put a manual engine into automatic car?
i got an automatic eg civic with a blown motor.... is it possible to use an engine from a manual civic and put it in my automatic? anyone got a link on how to do this? is it as simple as taking out the clutch and flywheel and switching over the automatic parts?

It's basically that simple. You'll need to reuse some parts off the automatic, maybe intake manifold (not sure how 92-95 manual works for IACV) and you should be alright.
I'm doing the opposite with an automatic engine in my manual converted 96 Civic.

wow. this has to be the MOST NEWB question ever!
yes you can use the "manual" engine on an automatic
and engine is an engine. its purpose is to provide motion to the transmition which intern move the wheels.
so it does not matter is the engine has s manual or auto tranny, it can be used in either.
remove the flywheel and install your automatic one. then just install the trans and your set

I'm just learning to kinda work on vehicles and I didn't know if you could put an automatic engine in a manual or vise versa.
How can someone know if they don't ask or not taught.
You was once told or read it on an page some where.
Don't be mean to people and act like your better cause you knew what they didn't.
you could have been nice about it......
