Read the May 08 issue of Honda Tuning and you will get your answer. They took a bone stock b16 minus arias 9.0:1 pistons and made 507 hp with a good good tune. So yes they used aftermarket pistons but used the original rods and bearings too. SO i highly doubt you couldnt make 350 wheel if u had a good tune

short answer yes; it could make 350hp and might be fine for a while. But if it's a daily driver even with a great tune it would be alot of stress on the engine. better to be safe with forged rods/pistons and arp head studs. I wouldn't even worry about cams right away, if you have forged internals you could just give it a few more psi and make up what the ITR cams would have gave you, and the power would come in a little sooner also.

go ahead and do it if you want but my car is a DD so I'll sacrafice a higher price for reliability...but you should be okay with a good tune...no promises though

i dont see why its not possible. my friend has an all stock B16 dropped in an EG thats boosted and its put down 297whp. its plenty quick and its reliable from what i know (we took a trip down to topeka from kansas city) so if you're going with the ITR cams and maybe a little more boost it sounds do-able
