wiseco pistons b16
hi, i have a mostly built b16 turbo, darton sleeves, eagle block guard, (stock) micro polished crank, eagle H beam rods, wiseco pistons (9:1 cr), and every thing but cams to the head. witch bring me to my question, i was tolled that wiseco piston are not the best for boost app, on top of that there rist pin weak and limited to 500hp. i don't know if its true and would like to here some input from some one who has some background with tuning and or wiseco.

I did some research and the wrist pins are only good to about 500hp so if you buy there piston kit and you plan on making more then 500hp you have to buy there heaver wrist pins about $31 each the difference is wall thickness the ones in the kit if i renumber correctly are 163 thousandths of an inch the heaver ones are 225 thousandths of an inch.
as for the pistons i stopped at a local performances shop and talked to the tuner there he said he wouldn't take them past 600hp bc the forging is more for N/A. but he has never tuned any Honda that made over 470hp with Wiescon pistons in it. Wiesco said there good to what ever you can make and they do use the some of the best multilateral and I've never heard and thing bad bout any of there product.
