CA legal BAR'd ZC as of 9/09/05
i've seen this topic come up many times. everybody asks if its possible, and this is for the disbelievers. well, here is one for you guys. depending on how cool the ref is about it, they will just write it down as an Integra engine. just like every other swapped engine, it will need the proper emissions equipment. since i don't know much about the car or engine, i'll just show some pics
Emissions Parts Used:
'87 Integra wire harness w/ some rewiring
'87 Integra ECU
'87 Integra vaccuum control box
'87 Integra intake manifold
the patient: '87 CRX Si
the engine: DOHC ZC
the sticker: California BAR
there you go guys. just to let everybody know it is possible . i would've taken a picture of the engine code, but as you can see in the pics, its a tight fit. i could take pics of the receipt from where it was bought if want to be punks about it

i think it will be the same concept. all depends on what the ref thinks about the engine code. if he's cool about it, he'd just mark it as a 92-95 Honda 1.6L engine.
