It all depends what pulley he is using. If u are using the b16 then u can just buy the ls belt, they are all the same for dc. If u have crv pulley then u would need crv belt.

The CR-V bracket will work if you dont have P/S and have an original 92/95 AC compressor......If you have P/S you will need to trim both brackets until they clear or buy the 94-97 Del Sol VTEC AC bracket.
For B series AC compressors, use 99-00 Si A/C bracket on a B16 with P/S, Integra bracket will also work for manual steering cars.

Re: a/c bracket help delsol/crv?
I just did this with my 98 civic. Here's how it works as far as I know.
If you plan on keeping your d-series a/c compressor (which will be easier since you can keep your a/c lines now) you will need either a p54 a/c bracket from a DOHC Del Sol VTEC or one from a p7J from a CRV. I've heard (but not confirmed) that the p7j CRV bracket might cause clearance problems with your P/S pump. If you're not going to use p/s, then it shouldn't be a problem.
OR
If you already have a p30 or pr3 a/c bracket from a b16, you can use the a/c compressor and lines from a 99-00 Civic Si EM1. That's what I have in my car right now. The a/c lines that go from the compressor will fit the existing lines that are on your car now. The a/c lines that came with you d16 compressor WILL NOT fit the b16 compressor, they're too short.
If you have any more questions, you can always PM me and i'll try to help you as much as I can.

Wrong, DC will NOT work if you're running a D-series compressor. It'll work with a DC compressor, but none of the Civic A/C stuff will connect to a DC compressor.
Any 97-01 CRV bracket will work. I got mine from Majestic Honda for like $65 I think.
It works because the CRV has a B-series engine, but uses a D-series A/C compressor. Which is exactly what you're doing. I've verified... I have a 99CRV, and it has an identical compressor as my 2000 Civic. And, I've been running a CRV bracket on my D-series compressor and B-series engine for over 2 years.
I haven't heard anything about the power steering clearance thing. I didn't have any issues at all, but I honestly can't remember what power steering I'm running on my B18C. I *think* I'm running a GSR pump and brackets, but I think I've heard that EG hoses don't connect to B-series pumps.

Re: a/c bracket help delsol/crv?
DONT GO TO HONDA! My local dealership told me $180 for the del sol bracket and $118 for the crv. I went to a salvage yard 20 minutes away and walked out with the p7j (crv) bracket, pulley and tensioner for less than $50. The brackets are identical, which baffles the **** out of me why they charge two completely different prices. As for belts, I'm using one from autozone that is one size up from the EM1 belt on my car. Its slightly smaller than the crv (didn't have in stock) and works just fine. Good luck.
