Default Blowing FI fuse (15A) under hood when trying to start??

Hey guys, so my rod bearing/wrist pin bearing went in my old d16y8, so I got a replacement motor (same one) to put into my pain in the *** civic lol.

- motor is from a 1997 (so said the tag from the yard I bought it from)
- All plugs found a home, except distributor (plugs were slightly different, so I used my distributor from my 1999 d16).

- motor finally fired, but was running in limp mode, throwing a crankshaft position sensor code. I fixed this, it was due to a broken blue wire in plain sight on the harness end of the distributor plug.
- With limp mode fixed, approx an hour later I went to start up the car to leave my house, and standing beside it talking to a buddy, my headlights alternated flickering, and my rpm gauge was showing 0 with the car on, and when I'd rev it, it'd do a dance. up and down like a hookers pants lol. I thought I could maybe get home the way its acting, and as soon as I go to reverse, it dies on me. stopped getting fuel.

- Since then, I've checked for dead fuses, replaced most of them anyways. I cracked open my fuel rail screw and tried to roll it over, no fuel squirting. Check the 15A fuse for "FI E/M" under the hood, its blown. so I replace it, and forgetting my screw was still open, it starts pissing out fuel from my fuel rail. Problem solved? no. everytime I try to start the car, it blows this fuse. I don't know why, or where to start looking. I'm about to take it to a mechanic for a quick fix, but I'd rather save the money if I CAN. Hopefully some of you brainiacs can assist me ^^.

Fuel pump, pump motor fuse, and pump motor relay are ALL good. with ignition on you can hear them all turn on, pump turns on, and relay clicks, but when I roll it over, blows fuse. HELP ME PLEASE AND THANKS Im anxious to try this new motor, haven't even driven it yet.

I drove it for a few days in limp mode, started everytime fine. Except for one time, my battery was dead, couldn't understand why. So repaired the blue wire on my distributor that was broken, which fixed limp mode, but all of this started happening and haven't driven it since.

grounds are good, freshened up all the ones that seemed half corroded and made sure the 3 I disconnected during the swap were back in the right spot with a fresh connection

Based on the fact that the engine runs, the hood 15A ECU fuse no longer blows, right?

correct, now my injectors can't seem to pulse. showing battery draw on the test light when Im trying to roll it over, but no "pulse" like you'd see in the video. I read a similar post to this with a girl with a 97 engine into a 99 car, and you said Connector B on the ECM... whereabouts is this Ron? I'm between that and adding another ground directly to my fuel injectors somewhere, I've basically ruled it out as a bad ground somewhere. more grounds cant hurt

Haven't done a pressure test on the pump or anything ( dont have a gauge), but fuel to filter, as well as rail, and adequate might I add. With injectors out of motor but plugged in, and car rolling over trying to start, nothing is coming out. Battery voltage and resistance to all wires on injectors themselves. Could you locate the ground wire going directly to the fuel injectors, and tie into it with another ground directly to the body? Its either black/yellow or yellow/black

limp mode was caused by a broken wire (blue) on my distributor (plain sight, don't know how I missed it), limp mode is gone, but since I did the quick rev test (made sure it went past 4k) it hasnt started up again since, stopped getting fuel and kept blowing fuse. fuse is under control now but no fuel..... was never an issue before god damn it lol
