Default Best Way To Mount Her ?

.. Now that you've got you mind out of the gutters and realized this is still a car forum, I'm looking for suggestions on mounting this:

(obviously this is an exhaust temp controller, but same design as oil pressure.)

Reason: I just received my car back from Donf and it couldn't be running better. However if you care to take a look back at my threads, I am "humbled" to take a look into these to monitor my oil pressure. Any photos included would be great. And any other models would also help to evaluate a comfortable and convenient spot.

By the way, its an EM1.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah that would be the typical place to mount and yes a very convenient location. However I'd rather not attract thieves, so looking to mount it somewhere by the drivers side door like around the fuse box area. Just wanted to see photos of mounting locations.

How big is it? How about on top of the steering column right in front of the instrument cluster. That way, you don't have to look in weird directions to read it. It will be just like reading the speedometer or tachometer.

around the fusebox is a pretty good location.
you are going to need to make some custom mounting brakets though.

Thanks all for the ideas and thanks racer for the reply to the above. Yes, out in the open is a no go. I'm not sure of the size of the box, but I couldn't imagine it being any larger than 3-4 inches (lol). Going to order this soon and I'll take it up to a shop for a test fitment. Any photos in the meantime are much appreciated.

I don't have any pics, but on my buddy's DC2 he had two different Buddy Club gauges like that and they were mounted in the lower DIN pocket. If you put the 96-98 lower console in your car, you can flip up the cupholder when you're parked to hide the gauges.

Interesting point hushy, if you come across any pics Im interested to see.

And sanegb16, velcro wouldn't be a bad idea, but i wouldn't want it starting to "slump" after awhile. haha

i usually mount from behind, but ocassionally you get one that looks good and mount from the front so you can see the whole package when you mount it. an oil pressure gauge, that is
