Re: Anyone else waiting for the QSD h2b kits?
Qsd sucks at customer service. the product is good. WHen I ordered mine it took almost a month for me to recieve it and they had it inn stock. and everytime that guy answered the phone he would say he was sorry and it would be shipped by %pm that day. and I'd call for like 5 days straight from different numbers and it would be days before he would answer and i would hear the same story until like 3 weeks went by and I sent him an email talking **** and he finally called and said he didn't have an excuse but it was shipped out already and gave me a discount. and the I went from an EF to an Eg and it was the same thing to order the driver bracket and came to find out they were almost identical and I could have just drilled the holes on the ef bracket

How come there's no mention of the Bisimoto kits here? I may be doing an H/F2B swap this summer or fall once I buy a new car to DD, and I'm just curious as it seems like QSD kind of sucks customer service/shipping wise.

i dont know where everyone is getting this H is half the price of a K. i just picked up a k24 motor for 550 bux. another fact is k20a2's and z1's have vtec on intake and exhaust side as the h22 has just intake. people like d series trannys because thier cheap and more durrable then the h22 tranny and the d series ex FD is damn near the same as a gsr gear ratio. the k20a2 and Z1 heads will respond better to any mods because they flow much better. i dont see the h22 being a K killer when the k20 is .2 liters less of displacement yet stock makes the same power. k24/a2/z1 head combos have been near 240hp. And to the one idiot that said he made 206 and would have made 220 if he reved higher. just because u rev higher doesn't mean ur HP wasn't falling off and probably why any tuner would have stopped. not all motors make power to 8k like the K series do. what is wrong with this community and the idiots that have followed without a search button or research at all.

Oh look, someone who wants to bash an entire facet of the honda community because he found a cheap part. All for a thread necro. This topic is very old.
This is new and exciting.
k20's are great. No doubt about it. But you can't just toss aside the wonders that are h2b swaps because you got a cheap k-series engine.
You don't think people get cheap h22 blocks? Or cheap b-series transmissions?
Maybe they don't like cable shifters?
Some people like to be different.
Some people like to have the 92-00 look under their hoods.
Some people like the easier ability to reserve Air Conditioning.
Some people don't like having to use their welder and scrap metal to install engine swaps.
Some people don't like to spend $1,000 on tuning software.
Some people don't like k20's.
For the same reasons some people don't like d-series.
For the same reasons people don't like b16's.
For the same reasons people don't like ford probes.
For the same reason people don't like jacked up trucks.

Re: Anyone else waiting for the QSD h2b kits?
From the h2b chat thread the bisimoto kit seems to be the best, but the price is primo.
The bisi kit is pretty different from the others, comes with a custom flywheel, etc.
The bisi kit also doesn't have problems with the flywheel bolts backing out from what I've heard. The QSD tends to do that.

Re: Anyone else waiting for the QSD h2b kits?
I bought the Evo kit for my h2B, it's well worth the money since the evo kit comes with a light weight flywheel made for the h2b setup.

I say that mainly because when I go to the EVO industries website, there's a huge banner of Bisi's car:
I just emailed Seth about an hour ago. We'll see if he gets back to me and if he has the kits in stock.
