Adjustable cams? You mean cam gears, right? Stock cams? Even if that dyno is reading flywheel horsepower, it's optimistic. Was this done on Church's dyno by any chance?

I was gonna say the same thing, I dont think even church's dynapack would show that torque but ?

My friend just made 252 175 on a b20 with ITB's just yesterday out of a honda header at church so who knows ?

Lol 194/138 to the wheels? With bolt ons? That's ITR spec man nowhere close could a B16A push that much with bolt ons. I doubt it could even push those numbers with stage 2 camshafts & upgraded valvetrain. B16B cammed could barely push 190's.

I never said it was whp either. B16a2 should be 160hp to the crank stock.

My B18CR with "bolt ons" barely makes 185whp. It has 70mm throttle body, 70mm intake manifold, RMF replica headers, and a blox test pipe with a straight pipe all the way to the exhaust. Tuned on Hondata S100 and it's misfiring at high RPM. Don't really see how yours will push 194whp unless its bhp, my bhp ratings is at 230+bhp to be pushing 185 to the wheels.

80hp loss from a "clogged" air filter? Wtf was it clogged with, cement? I doubt the car would even run with a filter capable of restricting 80 horses. It would choke and die.

It was running supper shitty before I fixed the problem of the clogged filter and it wouldn't even idle correctly. Finally got to fixing it and now it's running like a beast. I have no idea if any internal work has been done as for I haven't bothered to check. Yes, cam gears. Isn't it obvious i'm not talking about camshafts? It's the power to the wheels, not the fly wheel. I could care less if you guys don't believe it.

THE POINT OF THIS POST WAS IF ANYONE IS SOMEHOW LOSING A LOT OF POWER TO CHECK THEIR FILTER.

Dude, the story is bull ****. the air filter would have to be dipped in concret to clog it that bad, and then the engine would just simply die. It's not possible.

mods, can you lock this thread? It was doomed from the start.
