Default 98 hx planning b18b1 swap - Will my hx harness work?

I have a 98 hx and I purchased a b 18b1 swap and he gave me the ecu with it and said my harness should work, but I'm not sure if that's correct because I have a egr valve and whatever on my current harness will this cause any problems? Thanks - alex

Assuming this is a five speed You'll have some extra plugs left over (ie EGR). You'll have to rewire the primary O2 sensor and extend it to the rear of the exhaust manifold pipe in front of the cat. You can just leave the EGR wire hanging as the LS ECU won't look for it because it doesn't use one. You'll also have to either swap plugs on the intake air temp sensor or route the sensor into your intake arm using a grommet. Also you'll need to extend your 2nd O2 into a cat type setup.

I know the egr plug won't be used neither will anythingwith vtec involved. I'm just wondering if it is hard to swap the intake air temp sensor would my hx plugs work ? If not how hard iis it to move them using a grommet I'm sorry I'm new to this and am just trying to figure out what id need to do before attempting it.
FEEDBACKS APPRECIATED !

The wiring harness will work with a few extra plugs like everyone says unless your running an obd2 ecu also?

If your doing a B18 OBD1 Swap then you should be ok. But like previously stated, the plugs will need to be extended. Although it might be cheaper to just swap another harness.
