95 eg problems and ecu location?
well i just traded my 91 frankenstien civic for another project. i traded it for a 95 eg with a damn d motor that runs horrible. havent got to check it out because been working a lot but i thought i could throw up some problems and maybe ppl got some suggestions. first i looked real fast under the pass carpet for ecu and didnt see it or maybe i looked to fast. isnt that where it should be or where else could it be and yes it does have a cel that is why i am trying to find it? number 2 when i start it and i start driving it it will kick really hard like jerking bad and what not. i was thinking tps maybe? it is very bad when it happens and it happens in all gears. and last when it is started up it sounds like it is looping or in safe mode i would say. thanks for all the help. hopefully i will get more help on this site than freaking gay superhonda.

The ecu is located on the passenger side kick panel, behind the carpet. As for the rest of your post, I don't understand what you are asking. Do you have a Check engine light? Do you know how to pull codes on it?

yea i have a cel. thats why i needed to find ecu so i could check codes. yea i know how to check codes. as for the rest i dont know how else to say it as far as when i start it it sounds like it is in safe mode or a very bad miss and when i start driving it and giving it some gas it starts jerking very hard. i know most things about hondas but like to hear ppls opions. i have just been on that superhonda and then i found this site which is 10 times more active than that. thanks for telling me that damn thing is.

alrite i checked the cels i got a 3, 6, 24( there was 2 long flashes but maybe it was a 14 because there is no 24s only 14), and 19. now i know 19 is a auto trans because it was a automatic trans swapped to a manual so that means i need to swap ecu correct? next is the map sensor code 3. now i see it isnt even hooked up. could someone tell me the color the wires should be because they cut the sensor completly off. and how many wires it is? next is code 6 which is ect and that was bad on my b16 i can prolly figure that out eventually. and there is no code 24 but there is a 14 which is the iac valve. and how can i fix that. i figure all these codes leads to how it is running.
