you can do intake header and exhaust.
but you will be dissapointed.
for the same price as good I/H/E you can get a JRSC so why not go that route.
its an easy install, and very rewarding.
to make a good Dseries n/a buy d16a6 pistons, d16a6 rods, mill the head alittle, and then buy good I/H/E and a good cam.
should put you at 130whp. and lots more money that a JRSC and your would get the same results.

Thanks for the input Snail. I'm thinking of getting a headder that will support a super charger, since it will be a little while before I can get the S/C.

I was in the same boat as you and for approx. $1,000 including all the shipping costs I had greddy turbo kit at stock boost, which was enough to beat bolt on GS-R's and Preludes. It was fun while it lasted 
Never made it to the track since but i would guess high 14's assuming decent driver.
