Default 94 civic ecu

Ecu in my civic was replaced at some point before I got the car, ecu is a P06 sharpie on it says 93c dx cpe auto
So obviously it came from a 93 civic dx coupe with an auto
My question is will it make a difference running an auto ecu on a manual?
I have a b7 and manual trans.

Could that have anything to do with my cluster not working?

You can modify the ECU to bypass that auto part. I doubt the auto ECU has anything to do with your gauge cluster issue.

I'm thinking it doesnt have anything to do with the cluster issue either, since it was never showing a code for the auto trans, (well it probably is but I cant tell due to dead cluster)

and thanks, thats what I thought but I wanted to make sure that was the only thing. I'm gonna try and source a manual trans ecu just to appease my OCD, the P06 is the correct ecu for a the b7 right?

That's correct. You don't want to modify what you have?

Actually I probably will sometime down the line, its on the long list now, right now I'm focused on the heater core removal so I can pull the rest of my harness for the tuck I just noticed the ECU when I pulled up some carpet, figured I'd ask while it was still fresh in my brain and before I forgot.

it takes longer to warm up your soldering iron than it does to convert the ecu.

What's specifically wrong with the cluster?
