93 Del sol start and die
ok, i just finished re-rebuilding my 93/94 del sol after a hit and run, but it doesnt properly start up.
It will constantly attempt to start, usually killing my battery, then i use a charger in jump start mode, and a few times after that it starts, but if i hit the gas, it dies again. after about 3 mins of running, i can double tap the gas to get it to rev, after about 15 mins, it revs and starts fine.
could it be too cold? this winter by me is the coldest its been since i've owned the car, and i cant think of anything obvious because when its running, it runs perfect, and help is greatly appreciated, and sorry about the long post,
thanks nick

Re: 93 Del sol start and die
A buddy told me it could be the injectors, so i did the jumper test for the cel and it says injectors, but i have the computer plugin port,so I'm gonna do a second opinion, but does this sounds like a possibility?

What engine and ECU?
CEL code 16? Still thrown? Any other codes?
What exactly did you rebuild?
How old are the plugs, wires, cap and rotor? Ignition timing set to spec?

Sorry for such a late response, all the wires and spark plugs are new, cap and rotor are old but know they still good, I pulled the injectors off my "new" parts engine and it takes only about 30 seconds to start, but isles roughly until the engine is a little warm about 3 mins. And will run and start fine after for the whole day unless I let the car sit and engine gets all the way cooled off
