I KNOW how you all feel about 17" wheels, so you don't need to go there.

Anyway, i was wondering if i would be able to fit 215/45/17's in a 97 civic ex with coilovers. Is it just a matter of rolling the fender a little, or would it not fit for other reasons? I'd like to go with the 45's for comfort reasons if it's possible. Or would the difference not even be noticeable from 205/40/17's?

Any help would be appreciated.

i'd say go 205/40...they look alot better in imo...45's look too big on a Civic..they look okay on Accords/Preludes..i've never had 45s when I had 17's but I don't think you'll notice a big difference..you will be able to fit the 215/45 cause in my Ricer day's i rocked 215/35/18 with no probs..just don't slam your car too much...i even tucked the 18s with no real probs

i know a guy who has them on a 96 CX and it looks sooooo stupid, don't do it you'll kick yourself in the *** later, if you do!!!!

there willl be no room to lower the car at all cause the tires fill the wheelwells completely.......and they rub like crazy at stock height!!!!!!

that size tire was made for a GTI not a civic
