1993 coupe wiring problem
ok here we go, i have a 1993 honda civic coupe d16z6 5 speed. car was starting fine until i pulled the distributor and starter and some other sensors. now when i go to crank the car the fan spins instead of the starter ..........any ideas of what could have went wrong???

OMG. Why did you pull these things? Go back and recheck your work. I mean, obviously you have miswired something. I have just never heard this one before.

well i pulled them because i blew a huge hole in the bottom of my trans and had to pull it and now i got this headache....i rechecked my wiring and it all looks good....the idiot i bought it from converted it from 1.5 liter automatic to a 1.6 manual so im guessing **** got messed up along the way.

Lol you deffinately have something miss wired. Your fan and starter relays are right next to each other in the fuse box under the hood. Double check your wires you probably just crossed the two coil wires for your fan and starter. Use a multimeter to check continuity on your wires.
