Default 1993 Civic VX failing emission

If anyone has knowledge on passing Emission Help?

Here are my Emission Test data for my 1993 Civic VX.

Cruise limit: HC(PPM) Cruise limit 190/Cruise Emission 69 Pass CO(%) Cruise limit 1.4/Cruise Emissions 0.53 Pass

Idle Limit: HC (PPM) 220/Idle Emissions 280 Fail CO(%) Idle Limit: 1.2 Idle Emissions 0.01 Pass

As you can see I passed everything except for the idle on hc measured in (PPM). If anyone has knowledge on helping me pass emission help please? Your help will be much appreciated. My car is so close to passing!

My car has about 97,798 miles on the odometer, but I'm not sure if that's the actual mileage. Seafoaming, what is that?

What state are you in, and do you have any CEL codes?

You can get seafoam at your local auto parts store, it helps clean the inside of the motor. CEL's are check engine light's

No, I don't have a check engine light on. I replaced everything new except for the catylac converter. Are you sure Seafoam is going to help my car pass the hc(PPM) idle limit because that's the only thing I failed. Again the Idle limit was 220 and I got 280. I just need help on reducing my idle limit on hc.

Try some of that 'never fail' **** in your gastank.

why did you remove the fact that you didn't replace your cat from your first post?

Did you get the car "Hot" before the test?
Meaning did you drive it for around 30 minutes before you took the test?
You need to get the cat hot for it to work correctly.

Because I'm sure the cat has nothing to do with the hc(ppm) on the idle emission.
