Found out yesterday that EG rear shocks WILL NOT work on an EK. The perches are too shallow and contact the LCA.

Lots of those parts are not interchangeable.

Can we confirm whether or not the side mirrors on the 96-00 or at least 96-98 civics are interchangeable!? I've heard there are differences for the coupe/hatch vs the sedans for 92-95 (not sure what or why) but what about for 96-00?

Not entirely true.. for example i bought eg function and form suspension, for my ek hatch the front is straight bolt on. As for rear i needed to use washers (total of 5, some say 6) to aid with the gap on the lca. Everything else was bolt on.

Same is true for 96-00. Sedans are different from Coupe/Hatch.

Sorry to add to this so late, but will a radiator from a DC Integra fit an EK/EJ Civic?

No Del Cluster will just drop right in, you'll have do some fab work to make it fit. I don't think the plugs are the same either. Springs will work though.

Not talking about ek coupes or four doors. I was talking about the hatchback style. They both have the place that fits under the lights. I also want to know if I take a 96 ek hatch side skirts and place them on my 94 eg hatch will it work?

No, it still won't work, and you don't have an EG or an EK.

I mean your car is an EJ1/2/4, not an EG. Just because parts look the same doesn't mean they are the same. 96-00 skirts are longer than 92-95.

Can they be modified to fit? Yes. Are they directly interchangeable? No.

What's with you wanting 6th gen parts on your 5th gen? Just buy a 6th gen! Hahaha.

Are fuel tanks interchangeable for the EG and EK?
Does the EG fuel tank for the carburator type models have the same opening for the fuel pump assembly from an EK?

yeah you just have to cut a few inches of it off, but it fits good

^that's my old coupe, just make sure you get a coupe one for a coupe, hatchback for hatchback, etc

I see many parts from civics and integras are interchangeable. But what about from a prelude? Would coilovers from a 92 prelude base model fit a 92 vx hatch?
