17 Civic Sport Hatch - Audio System Questions
I bought a Civic Sport Hatch for my wife last week. Overall, she really likes the car and so do I. It's a huge departure from her 2004 Pilot and she is enjoying how quick and nimble the Civic is by comparison.
My wife is a fan of XM radio and has an account. It seems the majority of aftermarket XM receivers connect via an AUX connector which (amazingly) the Sport Hatch does not seem to have. The only option seems to be an FM modulator, which tees in to the incoming FM radio antenna. The car is so new, I can't find any photos or videos of the stock radio showing the antenna connection. I want to make sure I can plug the XM unit in before I tear the car apart. As an alternative, I suppose I can always buy a bluetooth transmitter for the XM unit, but I'd rather not add the complexity.
So, my questions are 1) is there any way to get an aux connection to the Sport Hatch radio and, if not, 2) is there a standard antenna connector on the back of the radio that I can connect the XM unit to?
