Need Help! 06 Civic LX wont start. Ant-theft problem?
I have an 06 Civic LX sedan. Automatic. It wont start. All the lights work but nothing happens when I try to start it. I dont think its the starter bacause it just all of a sudden happened. It was fine before. Im wondering if it has something to do with the anti theft system because the battery went dead in the key. I put a new battery in the key disconnected the battery and re-entered radio code and nothing. Ive search the internet for answers and tried the put the key in and turn to on position , then turn to the lock position. Nothing seems to work. Is there some kind of reset for this? Any help is appreciated. I gotta get to work in the am.

I had a similar thing happen to my 06 EX. The battery died while I was out of town. When I got a new battery, the car would start but cut out after about a second. After talking to the dealer, they said the immobilizer system needed to be reset to my key.
