Vents wont stop blowing out air even when off...
So I picked up my 06 Si today and went cruising for the night trying to break her in. The car at this moment only has 80 miles on it but for some damn reason me and my gf couldnt stop air from blowing out of the vents. We turned the car off and on and we put the vent to max then quickly shut it off but air just kept coming through. If you adjusted the hot and cold it would also adjust the hot and cold as it blew through while off.
I really have no idea what the deal is, the light for changing where the vents blow out from never seems to go away so I am forced to leave it on the defroster so the air blowing through isnt so bothersome. Any ideas guys? I would hate to have to service the car already with only 80 miles.
Thanks for any advice

The lights should always be on... if the car is on.
So you're saying the blower is on even when the car is off? Time to ask the dealer and get your money's worth on that warranty.

There are 2 settings on the ac control. one should have a pic of a car the shows an arrow circling. click it and the air will stop. if you don't, ambient air comes through the car.

wow is this your first car ever?? hahaha how old are you 16?? or did u come from a car that doesnt have vents? ahahah but yea look for the button that closes the vent from the OUTSIDE.. what the post says above is correct.. look for the button that represents letting air from the outside come in.. the differnce is when u have the outside vents open you have fresh air coming in warm or cold.. if u close the vents your circulating the same air and trapping it in the air.

Is the air coming through all the vents? On most Hondas, fresh air will come in through the outboard dash vents even if the fan is off, so long as the car is moving. Closing those vents manually will stop the air from coming in.
RTFM, and have a nice day.

*Laugh* Obviously I read the manual but it doesnt mention anything about having the circulation button on to stop the flow of air coming through the vents. On the other hand, if someone points it on where it is in the manual then I will stand corrected and will call myself a douche lol
