top speed
How fast can all stock civic go (including non si)?
After adding all the mods you guys have, what's the highest speed you ever achieved?
I'm just curious, I never had the gut to test mine out at full speed, went about 98 chasing some stupid subaru who cut me off and that's about it. pretty sure I can reach 100, mine is only a stock ex 06.
And how does all that dyno thing work out? I have never done it and have no clue what the graph means, someone piont me to the right direction to learn all these.

Negative. I believe it's 157mph not taking into account any wind resistance. Between 130-140 in reality.

Re: top speed (yuning83)
Personally hit 132 mph, but my mechanics got it up to 151 mph on the dyno. They said it had more but were concerned about over heating.

ii just replied to the same thread over on 8th before i went to class.... was that you?
Anyways, I dont know what the R18 (ex and down trim level civics) can run, but the SI can push ~156mph in america, where as the canadian models seem to have a governor on them. not sure what it was set to.

That's the one thing I love about the mainland US. If you like to drive, the islands don't provide enough pavement (at least for my taste). I do miss the surfing the north shore....but driving fast gives me that temporary adrenaline satisfaction....
I went up to 125 here and could have definitely done more but the corvette and porsche that I was baiting didn't want to push it past that speed. After my last ticket, I'm not ballsy enough to do it without a car faster than mines leading the way.

Ok I thought this whole time my Si was govern at 130MPH or so, now i see all this higher mph's makes me want to see how hard i can push it, i'm pretty sure i land in vtec have to double check but i don't think i even reached 135mph. Is the wind that big of a factor???!!!

Re: (PsychoSiRex)
wind isn't a factor, but air resistance is. It's not that there is air blowing at you, but that you are trying to force your car through air, displacing the air. How easy the process is depends on the shape of the car and how fast you are moving. The faster you go, the faster you are trying to displace air and more resistance to the process will be evident in drag on the car. Drag causes most street cars to be limited to around that 130-140 mark you guys are talking about.

before i took my car in to have the 2nd gear replaced i could get it to 132 before it wouldnt go any further, and now it stops me dead in the tracks at 128. no if ands or buts about it, it will stop going faster at 128. i was in a foul mood one night and drove harder than i should have and i kept trying to see what was the fastest it would finally get to. i kept dropping into 5th to get it as high as it could, but nope. not this time. dont know if it was just exterior conditions or what, but it stopped me at 128 this time around.

Re: (95turbodteg)
I had My 2007 Si Sedan up to 133 today, 15 july 2007. My car is governed at 133. I attempted to go faster than 133 five times and everytime the throttle cut at 133.
