Re: new si 1/4 mile (Type X)
raced one with a minor intake mod done on his Si versus my hatch. Pretty dead even until 100mph when he started to pull.
Mine in a 92 Si Hatch
B16A
Skunk2 Stage 1
Skunk2 ECU
AEM CAI
DC Ceramic Header
Magnaflow cat-back exhaust
Motor Mount inserts
Clutch/Flywheel/LSD
P/S and A/C and Full Interior with a passenger at the time
Granted, none of my stuff has been tuned, and I could probably squeeze out some extra HP with a proper tune, but thats what it was. My car at that time probably ran a very very high 14. Right now with no A/C, gutted back seats, no passenger runs a mid 14.

Re: new si 1/4 mile (LShatchie)
Most of the mags are netting low 15's with them (15.0-15.2). Of course I would assume that's with the optional summer tires, but I can't say for sure. They seem underrated in power, that's for sure (197 hp, but most are putting down 180 wheel hp).

Re: new si 1/4 mile (Yellow Dragon)
yeah they would have to be the summer tires cause the all seasons bark pretty bad into 2nd i think just some sticky tires on it and it would run high 14's

you maybe right, Type X's time posted up there, is on the regular tires and not summer tires

Completely stock with the spare/jack, all season tires, and untouched tire pressure mine ran 14.91 @ 92.29 mph
14.7 is definitely possible stock.
Sorry for the crappy pic, the only camera I have is the one on my phone

15.1? wow. I would have expected it to be a lot better than that considering how mint it is. my h22 accord is in the low 14s and its a turd.

Hmmm...
Maybe I'll talk my dad into driving the FG2 down to Cecil County this weekend, instead of riding in my rattle-can EK coupe.
I'm shooting for mid-13's in the coupe, and I would love to see 14.xx out of the Si.
...I do know that it barks second and third pretty hard.

Hmm... I was down at Cecil on the night it opened and there were alot of cars there but no FG2's. You going down Friday night? Maybe I will head down.

Re: new si 1/4 mile (StraightCivic)
My girl got a new si... and those things aren't 14 second cars stock... beautiful... but they drag there belly's... I think her old 04 type s was sightly faster... that civic is at best a 15.2 car.(stock)... I was wondering too.. the guy at the dealership told me thats not the K20a2 like the type s(belly dragger also)... I assumed it was cuz of hp rankings... blah.. so what motor is it exactly..

Re: new si 1/4 mile (Gizzer95slowmotion)
Ps- I'll believe the 14's when i see it...with my own eyes.... I didn't say anyone's wrong... and when i take it to the track I might eat my words...

Isn't 15 seconds pretty high for a car that's so hyped up?
I LOVE the way the car looks... I have an EX. So I hope no one takes any offense but there's nothing impressive about high 14's and low 15's.
