Re: (longjon85)
So I was at the Honda dealer where I live getting an oil change on my Type R and happen to see the Mugen Si. Not bad of a car. 30 G's sticker not including dealer markup.
Here are some pics.

Re: (I:_Drive)
We got our Mugen Si yesterday 11-2. Its a pretty nice car but cant seem to justify 30k for it. Took it out for a drive with the GM and he let me strech her legs to see whats all the Hype was all about. I have to say feels like a 23k Si . The suspension on it is great at high speed deff stifer than the Si but on low speed not that great, Feels like the low speed dampning can be a bit more stiff, bouncy. The exhaust is quiter on it at full song compared to the Si. I do LOVE the looks of it, but think Honda/Mugen could have step up better on it to justify the 30k tag not to mention the market value they will hit the buyer with. My 2 cents ill post pics of it later this week when I install the HFP brake kit on it.

Re: (FBPSidan)
well honestly...
I really like it & thinking about getting it
I'm deciding to just take out some money from savings to make a decent size downpayment on it or else not get it at all...
For sure over the next 3-8yrs it would retain 80-90% of it's value

Re: (Charlie Moua)
Since it has been 2 months since these became available its time to ask if anyone has bought one or even seen one on the street. I personally know of 5 that have not sold yet in my area, and I have not seen one on the street.
I have not seen an S2000CR either, which is a dissapointment.

Re: (trayezFA5)
I was getting some warranty work done , so I took a stroll around the showroom. Sure enough there was a mugen SI out there. Grand total with dealer mark up and add-ons was $48,500.00. I couldn't believe it! $15K in mark up alone.

Give me their number so I can call them, laugh in their face over the phone and tell them what a joke they are for that.

OR how many they would get.....talked to his manager and HE didn't know either......so your point about retarded lying dealer salesmen stands true!
Then he also tried to tell me that they come with 220HP and tried to get me to come in and put down a deposit.
.....So i gave him a bogus name and number and hung up! </TD></TR></TABLE>
I'm in sales and some of these dealers just plain **** me off. You should give that dealer i LEGITIMATE schmack in da mouf.

Re: (rawkus)
ok heres my two cents lol... im an inventory manager at a honda dealer and personally i think that it is hondas way of testing the us market for a type R. This is a limited car. there is only 1100 made.... yes it is a steap price for what it is but will hold its value like a type R. Dont get me wrong you can buy an S2K or even a 3 series BMW for this price but neither of those will hold its value. Its all up to the consumer. i mean if you want a car u want it the price doesn't always matter. we had a guy come in and buy the first Si from us 10 grand over sticker.... the price didnt matter to him he just wanted the car. Theres a sucker born every minute but some guy will buy it and fell content paying the 600+ to own it.

Saying the car will hold it's value like a Type R is a pretty bold statement to make. The Type R Integra is a true performance coupe.....engineered and built with all out handling and performance in mind. Which is why they're not good daily drivers. Honda engineered the Mugen to be a mix of slightly elevated performance and daily driving because this day and age that's what MOST people are looking for...something they can have fun with, but at the same time take on a road trip here and there. I just don't see it holding up as good as a Type R would. To this day I see Type Rs with over 75K miles still selling for around 20K.

ok heres my two sents
its a sick car would not mind owning one at all...tho id rather have an ap1 but thats another story. now as for "who gets one"....the answer is who ever has the money...its could be me you , moms dads....honda doesnt care. the body is flawless as previoucly mentioned. i really like how the wing is adjustble, tho i think mugen shoulda put their own seats but hey the si's look nice. but maybe someone can answer me this, it says it does the 1/4 mile in like 6.0 seconds and all this other stuff now how does this vary from the stock normal si sedan? and i figure that the mugen would be heavier due to the body modifications unless the added downforce makes a major differance..well nice ride and hell everytime i walk into work i look at it lol
