This is mostly true. I found a website that is very informative on auto clay and how to use it: http://www.autopia-carcare.com/inf-clay.html Check out the link, it explains everything. I wasn't sure about the clay, but after reading the information on the web page, I think I may get a clay bar to help get rid of the bug gunk on the front end. No matter how much I scrubbed when cleaning, some of it just will not come off.

I bought the honda-care package when I purchased my car. It came with a complete cleaning kit that included auto soap concentrate, tire dressing, upholstery cleaner, dash cleaner, sealant, and microfiber mitt/pads. I use this to clean my car and it works great.

Edit: As far as drying goes, I now use microfiber towels that I picked up at Target the other day. They work so much better than the chamois I was using before (and no lint like terry cloth).

are you serious about the claying part? its a brand new car....claying it once or twice a year...and thats pushing it....if you drive a 06 or 07...you shouldnt be claying :X</TD></TR></TABLE>

Claying doesnt ruin your paint at all. IF you do it correctly, use the right lubricant, and the clay bar is clean. I havent been claying every month like I was. Just cause my gf moved and she has a double garage for her apt. But before I was over there everyday and had to park underneath pine trees and there was ALWAYS sap and other tree stuff on it. to make things worse right across from her old place there was a huge dirt field. And right around 5 the winds would blow and just ruin my cars fresh new wash.
