Honda Leasing
My brother just leased an Si and hes trying to do the same mods that i have. Just really hids, intake, and wheels... People keep telling us that as long as the car is back to normal before you turn it in its okay to do it. Is it okay to bring it to the dealership to get serviced with he mods on there or will he have to pull the out every time? Is it worth it? haha

it needs to be stock when u go in for a service. if hes gonna mod, just do the maintenance by yourself. but i wouldnt do any mods that are gonna be a hassle. actually as a matter of fact, i wouldnt mod any car if i was leasing. its a waste of money, especially if he isnt gonna buy it after the lease

I believe so (but could depend on the dealer) because you are basically renting the vehicle so if anything goes wrong with it, they could blame the mods for the cause.

Re: (FlatlineSI28)
"Modifications/damage
It’s not a good idea to modify a leased vehicle, mainly because it’s not yours. You are renting the vehicle. In the end, you’ll pay twice for modifications – when you buy them and when you are charged at the end of your lease agreement.
You’ll also be charged for damage to the vehicle in excess of normal wear and tear. Before you sign the agreement, make sure you understand the agreement’s definition of normal wear and tear. Get everything clearly written into the agreement so you’re not surprised by inflated charges at the end of the lease."
Found this online. As long as you return the vehicle to stock before you turn it back in you should be fine. I really don't think that the service department at the dealership is going to look to see if every vehicle that comes in is leased or not. Usually, the finance and service aspects are separate.

How many months did your brother lease the car for? Sounds like he leased it because it was the only way he could afford it. It's sad really, he probably got raped far worse than If he waited and saved a little for a larger down payment.
HID's without a retrofit is garbage and ghetto and it doesn't even look good.
