I was looking at getting a coilover setup and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the D2's? I cant seem to find a review or anyone with the kit installed

Re: D2 RS Coilovers
Quoted from another forum, owner of F/F2:
My review of my revision 1 type-2 function form coilovers:
They ride like ****, they look like ****, they're built like ****, they're terrible in everyway.
heres a list of my problems:
Rear springs pop out if you're lowered all the way, so the minute the car is jacked up the whole spring / perch assembly falls out -- this is due to the non threaded absorber in the rear which is entirely too tall for the car and fully lowered you still aren't tucking a 40 profile tire. The hardware used on the units seem to be a mixture of pepsi can's and thrown away galvanized steel from a korean sweatshop. The first batch was also sent with the wrong spring which was about two inches too tall so they sent out "new" ones that are just completely ******* wrong for the rear of the car.
The fronts are siezed, the rear dampening adjustments are sized, the front adjustments ***** just fell off, i'm assuming this happened during me hitting a bump or something else but yeah.
Oh yeah, and the left drivers side collar snapped off while I was adjusting it, thats right. I managed to break aluminum with my bare hands. When I called them to tell them all of this **** they sent me two collars and one was machined wrong and doesn't fit.
Does anyone seem to notice that I'm not very happy with them?

I'm sure it would be, ksport, d2 and f2 are all made in the same taiwanese factory just with different spring rates, the dampers and valving are all exactly the same.
heres some photos of the broken collar just to show how thin the metal is and how corroded it is in less than a year of driving WITHOUT any snow / wintery driving what so ever.
