Creaking Noise from front struts
I recently installed eibach sportlines (used). It's been a month or so and I'm getting a creaking noise when I turn left/right around the strut mount area. I thought a month would be a good amount of time to let them settle in... I got an alignment too. I'm thinking about taking them out and lubing them. Just gotta find the time.
Any thoughts?

I had similar problems with my HFP set-up. Couldn't work it out and replaced them with the original system. You might want to replace your bump stops. I think there was an upgrade of them from honda. Good luck!

I was thinking about cutting the bump stops or just upgrading them. I didn't think that would do it though. Thanks for the input.

...or I would check all bushings for a 'squeak' before I started spending $$$ on fixes.
edit: or turn up the radio so you can't hear it.... With modded suspensions, noise is par for the course. When you have vibration/shake/jerk in your steerining is when I start to question the setup.

Took my 2009 Si into the dealership yesterday to get the visors replaced as well as to see what was causing the squeakin sound every time I turned left or right. They said they've ordered replacement strut mounts for both the left and right sides.

Re: Creaking Noise from front struts
So if it's my stock strut mounts, they'll help me out? I had the notion that they would tell me to leave because of my after market springs.

Re: Creaking Noise from front struts
So I bought my Si New in 2009. I bought it in Austin TX, but now that I recall, they said this Si was transported from Corpus Christy. For those of you who don't know, CC is located next to the ocean.
Could this have anything to do with why my Struts began to squeak? Anything else I should look at that doesn't do well with sticky salty air?

Re: Creaking Noise from front struts
Ok, got my Si back on Saturday. Both front struts have been replaced, along with both visors (warping). Now not only does my car drive smooth and quite, but also no longer pulls to the right. I'm a really happy camper right now

I have the same problem with skunk2 springs. We probably need to upgrade our struts. If you compare skunk2 struts/shocks they are shorter than all the others to make up for gap.

Re: Creaking Noise from front struts
I have the same issue with Eibach Pro-Kit. I installed them on my car when it had 15k miles and the creaking started immediately after install.
I cut the bump stops as instructed by Eibach and it didn't help. I'm not sure if its the springs them selves. Any ideas?
