Can't tell if my starter is going bad or not?

Can't tell if my starter is going bad or not?
I have never used a forum in my life so any apologies if this is in the wrong area or whatever, also I have barely any car knowledge.
Anyways, I have a 2006 Honda Civic EX with about 220,000 miles on it. My car has been starting up weak for a couple weeks prior. A few days ago I tried to start up my car to go to work. It wouldn't even crank or anything, no feedback at all. It wouldn't even make clicking sounds like when you have a dead battery. My dad charged the battery and it was able to start up later in the day, about 6 hours later when I got home from work. Went to AutoZone to get everything tested, during the test it wouldn't start up again, so they put a little charger thing on it and it started it up. They said to go to drive the car around to charge up the battery and stuff, which I did. The battery and alternator are fine apparently, they think my starter is on it's last legs, which could very well be the case. Since then, it hasn't had any trouble starting up, it hasn't even started up weak. What is going on here? I know a guy who works for Honda who has worked on my car before, should I just get my starter replaced? I don't know if I should because I don't know for a fact that it is definitely bad.

Re: Can't tell if my starter is going bad or not?
If what you say is true, I would suspect a fault in the charging system or the battery.
The starter works when the battery is charged...how could they conclude that the starter is bad? lol
Get the alternator tested.
Replace the battery if it is old.
