Default very bumpy ride

i drive a 05 em2 coupe and my car is very bumpy. It has stock suspensions but i have rims with brand new tires. my friend has a 2000 honda civic and it drives smooth but when i drive my car i feel every single bump in the road. i dont know what is wrong with it. need help!

ya i agree. wheels could make it somewhat bumpy for blow struts could do it..

Overinflation/blown struts sounds like the most logical choice imo...

I don't think I overinflated my tires. Theyre all are at 30 psi which should be right. How much do you think it will cost to buy/rebuild my struts?

The smaller tires will cause a bit of a harsher ride and yeah it could be the struts gong out too. Just look at your struts and see if there is any oil around the piston.

You can pay anything you want for struts. I'd recommend not getting the $40 pep boys junk and going for oem or better.

buy all 4 new shocks you can get all new for 170 at autozone

possiably just because of the rim size is larger can definatly cause for bumper ride and depending on the tire size also typically the thinner the tire the harsher the ride

These cars are bouncy compare to 99-00 civic , no doubt about it , i owned them both

It's normal.

The ride quality of '01-05 Civics - and '03-05 in particular - is much more harsh than '00 and older models. The suspension systems are completely different.

Your 17 inch wheels and tires also aren't helping your ride quality. A smaller wheel with a taller tire sidewall will soak up bumps more easily.
