Default Strut Bars...

I'm really new to this when it comes to struts and suspension.

So i'm looking around for a front strut bar. I'm looking for the 3 piece flat style front upper strut bar, and I ran into the "NRG front strut bar."

But the description sounds like its for a harness bar. I even went to the NRG website and the description said the same. So I'm really curiouse on how this installed.

http://www.body-kits.biz/Front....html

Any other suggestions on any 3 piece struts out there? Or maybe struts in general. Give me some knowledge. Thanks.

best strut bar in my opinion. neuspeed. i put this thing on and intantly felt that it had siffened eveything right up. i swear by it... wish they mad a rear one like their front setup. look into it u can get them relatively cheap used in gr8 shape.

All of them will make a difference, they'll reduce chassis flex. Rear strut tower bars make no difference, as the floor binds the 2-towers together as is.

Strut bars make a minimum difference, best bet if you really want one buy a cheap one or make your own (free is always better lol) if you want to make a handling difference look into sway bars. More expensive but with make a greater effect. Strut bars will help but not $150 worth.

To some extent maybe, but a rear bar does do a little. (I've made my own front upper and just got around to making a rear upper, I did notice a SLIGHT difference, but I'm not sure it would have been worth any money. But once again... can't beat free)

agreed... i wanted to do chassis/suspension before my swap. always an option. you can go cheap (like me) with sway bars and get typeS sways off the rsx they are beefy and still practical, lower controll arms beefy endlinks coilovers 5lug/brake upgrades...the list goes on and on. im almost complet, missin camber plates and lower control arms. but my point is you can build a pretty stout suspension for cheap if you search around.

if you hav an EX it already has a rear sway. if not, look into progress. they make a setup that will bolt right up complete with bracketry and all.

go with the neuspeed or DC Sports. The key thing you want to look for is a strut bar with a design that goes around the intake manifold because most aftermarket intakes stick up pretty high, so a straight bar would hit the intake.

I like how the neuspeed one is... Go with that.

Cause all in all. You have to remember "you get what you pay for..."

Just an FYI, a rear swaybar bigger than 23mm will not clear your stock muffler.

Anyone know who makes the strut bars made of carbon fiber/kevlar? I've seen them a couple of times, but I'm not sure if they're just cheap eBay brands.
