I have a Hondoa Civic 2002. For the past couple of weeks, the parking light stays on and then whole dashboard ligths and gauges get turned off. Then after a while, the brake light goes off and all the lights and gauges starts working.

The last few days, the parking brake light is always on and all the gauges are off. The brake fluid levels are fine.

I found a lot of info abt parking brake light on with the search. But none with gauges getting turned off along with parking brake light staying on .

The parking lights, gauge lights, and tail lights (not brake lights) are all tied to the same circuit.

Check the fuse box under your hood for the "Small Light" fuse. It's a 15 amp fuse.

Is it the 15 A for the accesory power socket? There are two more 15A fuses: Fuel pump & Ignition Coil.

When the turn on the ignition I can see the engine light, fuel light, ignition light and stuff.

So I took to a mechanic and he pulled out all the wires and put them back in and things started working again.

But today when I am driving, the brake light shows up and none of the gauges work.

Can anyone help me out pls. What could be wrong?
