Re: overheating problems?
Is the fan coming on when it overheats like it should? On some models there is a connector on the thermostat that has two pins, take a paper clip and connect the two and turn ing. on and see if fan come on. If so then the thermocoupling is good if not then this might be your prob. Too new a model to think water pump but do you see any leak from weep hole (for that matter seen any leaks anywhere?) Others check the radiator when engine is cold take the cap off and start the engine check the radiator neck(where cap goes on) for bubbles no matter how small) if you have some then you have a headgasket issue. Of course you already checked with engine cold and felt the top water hose for heat-up and then wait for the bottom one to heat up if it does then thermostat is ok (its opening up) if not then you might have a bad thermostat (even if new-sometimes they don't open up)hope this helps you some.
