Icon3 manual vtec Engagement ?

i have d17a with d17a1 wiring harness is there any way i can plug into vetch solenoid manually?

this is a bit vague... do you mean you want to wire VTEC? or are you trying to control VTEC by manually activating it?

if the former, yes. you will just need to look up the pin-out of the VTEC ECU you're using to find out where the wire needs to hook in.

If the later, like grumblemarc pointed out it's not a Saturday morning cartoon "turbo-thrusters GO!" the solenoid is just an electro-mechanical device that activates the hydraulic half of an electronically controlled system. without the ECU doing its half of the work at VTEC engagement you're really just switching cams on the fly and running a bad tune. it may make more noise, but it won't be doing much more.

i have an d17a2 plr-lo5 but have not installed yet and d17a2 harness will that work with the d17a?
