Default Headlights are not turning on

My headlights are not turning on. My running lights work just fine, it is just the headlight bulb. I have purchased new bulbs, new fuses, new relays, checked all the wires I can see. What else am I over looking? I am running OEM headlights.

I'm wondering if the switch itself (on the column) is bad? It sounds like you've already replaced everything else?

Here is some more information. Headlights would delay turning on when I flipped the switch. One head light, random on which one, would randomly turn off. They would both flicker out, or they just wouldn't turn on. Now they, low beams, won't turn on at all. My high beams work just fine. Looks like I will just have to go at it with a volt meter and follow the wires.

Sounds like a textbook headlight switch recall to me. It was in the old FAQ, but didn't seem to make it to the current FAQ.

You could have asked me about it, bud. It's added now.

Thanks, Matt.

I haven't had to look for it until now. I figured I'd double check before just saying "Check the FAQ".

If you ever find any that aren't in there, please feel free to drop me a PM. I'll gladly update the FAQ's to include more info. The more the merrier, if you ask me.

I get customers coming in for recalls that are fifteen years old.

It happens I am headed to the dealership today, I will update when I find out what it is, so maybe other people with this problem can be helped.

I took my car to the dealership today to get my lights checked out. I was covered under the recall listed above. They replaced my turn signal assembly free of charge. I replaced the bulbs, headlight relays, and checked my wiring. If you have these problems take your car in to get the car checked for the recall. Thanks everyone for your help.

It's a good thing you got that fixed. The worst case is that someones head lights quite WHILE they are driving!
