I am having trouble with my A/c. It comes and goes. I just got my system charged and he cleaned out the hoses and what not from the compressor. He said that my compressor was weak. It is colder now than what it was, but it will stop working (like it was before he did that).

It will work decent when I'm moving and then stops when I hit traffic or as I keep driving. I know it won't be as strong when I'm not moving, but it will completely stop and be hot air. I also just recently noticed that when I stop my RPM's will continue to stay at 1500 - 2000 for a bit then down to normal, but only when the A/C is still on and the air has gotten warm. (my civic is a manual)

Any ideas as to what it could be? Could it just be the compressor? If it's weak, would that cause it to completely stop blowing cool air?

Probably the thermal protector is doing its job, for whatever reason the compressor is getting too hot, so the thermal protector shuts down the ac compressor at a predetermined temperature to prevent overheating of the compressore. These do fail as well.

check your fans make sure there working cuz when you stop the airflow stops and if your fans are cooling the condensor the a/c won't work

The fans are working, I know that.
