01 Civic front end shaking on take off
Just had a new clutch kit installed and flywheel resurfaced and the car is still shaking in the front end when I take off? is this some kind of internal transmission issue? its a 5 speed manual. also replaced all 4 motor mounts and compliance bushings (front of lower control arm) the rears were fine. im thinking its the bearings the cv axles slide into???

releasing it quickly but not just dropping it. the slower I release it the more it shakes. if I gradually let it out I can keep it in the zone where it begins to shake the whole front end. bur I try to get through that zone quickly. I am ok with it but my wife does not like the shaking. it is abnormal. I dont think a guy should have to rev it up to keep it from shaking like it does, but that does seem to help. when I replaced the clutch last week the old one was discolored (the springs in it and pressure plate) purple from the heat.

fluid level is full and fluid is clean. it begins to engage about 1/4 of the way up (THE PEDAL) Could a misfire in a cylinder cause this? it even shakes when I jack up the tire off the ground and let out the clutch with no load on it?? both sides

did you break your clutch in correctly? how many miles on the new clutch and how many RPMs to you go until you shift gears? also, what kind of clutch did you have installed?
