hey guys im still alive! things are movin slow cause of the car purchase but hopefully ill have some fresh engine pics up here this week!!! thats right the new engine is getting PICKED UP THURSDAY

IM BACK!! What you didnt think i I gave up didya?
Been crunchin numbers and pushin papers the last few month and havent had a lick of free time between work and school.
Sadly i skipped the big carlisle autoshow this weekend cause of various financial and school reasons, but it did give me some free time to pick up thissssssss, FINALLY
Also shipped out the shrouds for recoating so i can wrap up the retro project. Next on the list is f+r camber kit and getting the wheel bearing and lower balljoints pressed in to get the car on rubber and off to paint!!!
Some other things that happened in the last 4 months since i updated this thread... new beater car! ::

did some stuff today, cleaned up where i had cut the old radiator support off and painted it to stop any rust...
Also beat teh **** out of the frame til I had it all lined up right, test fitted fenders, front bumper, headlights and signals, it was actually looking like a car today! Ill try to get some pics up this week, hopefully itll be in paint by next paycycle

argh slow on the updates; just finished finals so things are speeding up now, finally-
body is mostly back in shape, just doin some final checkin here with spare headlights and corners:

thanks guys, talked to honda today apparently i ordered the wrong wheel bearings, they are ordering the correct ones but its gonna cost me a painful $165 / pair 
. Oh well, can't beat OEM right? 
And I dont have time to wait on reordering myself...Painter guy is coming over tomorrow to check out the car and let me know any last steps i need to take before sending it to paint next friiiiddaayyyyy :crosses fingers:
...hoping to shave the bay this weekend if I can get a hold of brett and his welder heh

you may have thought i forgot but i didnt! I got a bunch of pics of the new head, rechromed HID shrouds, car finally getting towed off to paint, but my gaddang image hosting service is all f'd up right now so i cant post them til its fixed
ANYWAY- here is the textual update, car has been in paint for 3 weeks now, getting completely resprayed cept for the interior (so exterior, bay and jambs) color is gonna be a custom black with gold pearl, paint samples i saw looked SICK. Engine is ready to be put in just need to mate the head to the block and get it in the bay.
Painter said car will probably be out of the booth and ready to take home in about a week or two.
As soon as I can get images up ill post everything of the refinished head, shrouds, other random parts, and the car getting towed to paint
driving this for now (in maryland)... not bad but definitely uber slow

got these back too, hid shrouds... freshly rechromed (they are plastic, had to send them to a specialist)... very happy with the results!
