That's Your first mistake right there^ needing a car finished for any reason in any amount of time always takes away from the end result.

Agreed. A $500 beater car (or something nicer if you can swing it) is the best investment you can make in your project car, period. Even if you plan on daily'ing your project when its done, a car that cheap will probably be worth the same amount when you're done and you can unload it for no loss... like a loaner tool from Autozone!

Take out anything you don't plan to use. But it's all your own setup related. I took out iacv, oil pressure, knock, both water temp sensors, vtec pressure switch, fan switch, reverse, and that ring with the grounds too

To the guys that removed/deleted their heater core, did u guys loop the coolant hoses that ran into the heater core or did u guys just plug the ports on the motor? Pics would be great. TIA!!

Some people cap them so there isnt extra hose but those rubber caps split after a few months... Mine have a welded end on it with a screw cap.

Yep. Capping it works just fine, but next time I have the motor out I'll definitely do something more elegant.

kenskustom makes some great stuff and I am not knocking them or anyone who makes the kit. Also my setup qsd+tilton was cheaper than kens $130. I wouldnt get there kit because its a 5/8" bore. Remember kenskustom is a drag race oriented site so I would assume that 5/8" would be great for a drag car with no rear brakes and stock fronts. I am no expert so don't quote me on that. I think chase has proven the 7/8" bore is a better fit. I still dont like the look of the master cylinder either.

how did he prove this? with some back to back tests on a skid pad measuring stopping distance between the two?
Use what you want. In the end there is no correct way of doing this because its still a danger having one system tied together. Pretty sure its not very street legal either. But what is?

should have my amphenol connector on the way in the next few days, going to start thinning out and depinning my existing harness... still trying to figure out what to do about the large grounds and my battery/alternator harness, just pass power lugs through the firewall?
