I am not sure but he probably cut it with small tube cutter. Then flared it the same way you would a hard line for the fuel.

Pull the stock fitting on the line back, as close as the stock flare as u can do it cut the line with the tubing cutter. Pull the stock fitting off and Slide the following on:

Part # - 581805 -5an Tube nut

TO

Part # - 581905 -5an Tube sleeve

Now flare the line on the 5/16ths setting and then pull the tube nut and sleeve up against the flare. Then thread in the:

Part # - 991907 -5an to -6an union

I have to ask.. "Ive been working with mil spec wiring, connectors etc. everyday for over and decade" ... but "I got my rywire harness" ..... Why didnt you make your own?
To answer your question i didnt make my own because im on a timeline trying to get my project finished and while i have the knowledge of rewiring jets with all those components i didnt feel like remaking a entire harness. Because people like Rywire buy in bulk and i dont by the time i bought everything it would have cost me just as much to make one myself then to purchase one from a already highly respected company such as Rywire and i knew i would have no issues with it and i could focus on other things on my bay.

Also i never bashed what people could afford. I only stated that calling it a fancy wrapper was a dumb statement and if you cant afford it then fine but dont go saying dumb things. Its kind of like saying i got this ebay cast turbo manifold cause the full race equal length manifold is just fancy welded tubing. No its not and if you cant afford the nice full race manifold thats fine not everyone can but saying its dumb or a waste of money really to me just comes down to hating on the fact that you cant afford it or on the people that choose to.

My apologies if i came off the wrong way in the 1st place it wasnt my intent. Just with every new thing people start calling it this but its not for instance when the big hype over twin scroll turbo started a while back everyone would say twin scroll but it wasnt. I never meant Silky hasnt made a "mil spec" harness i was more just posting to educate anyone who might not actually know what makes a harness "mil spec" and as to why you would use mil spec wiring, pins, DR-25, etc.... And i tried to be very careful not to offend anyone but apparently that didnt exactly go as planned so officially i apologize.

Thanks!! i dont mind the criticism... funny u should mention the radiator as u can see i had to fab some brackets to make it fit and i really wanted to be able to put a full size in there but no room so something different will have to be done! Like u said it will never be finished but for now its fun time!!

as for right now the motor is bone stock it put down 301.4 whp and 263.3 wtq reving to 7400 with a shitty 2.25 exhaust that is choking the **** out of the motor!! i just ordered the kteller 3" piping kit along with vibrant resonator and muffler which should be here next week then i am going back for a retune with some more boost shooting for 350whp... as for exterior shots i dont have any new ones cause the front end is in primer waiting for me to get some money to paint the car but heres an old one...

headlight is fairly easy, if you know how to wire up a radio then it shouldn't be an issue.

man too bad your not out here id paint the bumper for you just to help out.... Looks great man and im sure you will be able to put down some more power.... You ever considered putting a F22 bottom end on?? My buddy did it to his turbo prelude and it handled the boost alot better and cut him the savings of sleeving since he was only wanting to jump up to a reliable 350-400.... Anyway looks nice good work.

I just spent some time in the bay and I think he cut the nipple and tapped the inside of the nipple using a 1/8" NPT tap and then put on a 1/8"NPT to 6AN straight adapter. The nipple itself has a bit of meat to it .. this is the only way I can see you converting the brake booster to AN without welding it on.
