Goddamn there is some good **** in here. March 13/14 is the half off sale Ontario/Monrovia Pick-a-Part. I'll be hitting that up for sure.
I've heard the Pick-a-Part in Riverside has some gems, as well as the "hidden" Pick-a-Part in San Bernardino off Waterman Ave.

The Pick-a-Part in San Bernardino pretty much has nothing but gutted cars. Better chances @ Ecology in Fontana since it's strictly a import yard.

The one off Santa Ana is technically Rialto, the one in Fontana is strictly imports.

Re: Rare/Expensive Parts Found at Junkyard
rare & expensive, rare to never for me. Found plenty nice stereo stuff though. And tons of gems over the years like mint hoods, clusters, and random body parts which I guess otherwise would cost a butt load from the dealer. Integras are a great source for swap parts. Seen a few GSR swaps but not many. Scored a GSR trans once. Scored a nissan micra 1.2L which ran awesome. Also tons of suspension parts. Also toyota 22re parts, dash, seats. H22s are plentiful and easy to get stuff for. Never seen a b16a or type r or legit vtec k sawp. Seen plenty konis & bilsteins, always rusted. Most EGs in canadian yards are heavy rusted and beat. Good parts are harder to find now. Go junkyard.
