Nice beater, but if that was really your car, you would have noticed that those are carbs.

well if ur just buying them for looks and to be cool then yeah minimal power and looks is what ur gonna get........... if u got a fully built race motor itbs are something u want/need for power. people make it seem like itbs are a fashion statement now adays, everyone jumping on them with a set of skunk 1 cams and some headers. lol
if ur not pushing high comp., stage 3 cams ( heard 2 is ok) and ur **** aint daily driven then yeah ur gonna see lots of power gains. u see there is no in between with itbs ur either on the fkn throttle or ur not. i have itbs but then again my car aint street driven and i didnt buy it for looks </TD></TR></TABLE>
The power gains depend on the parts you choose to back them up with. Also, sizing them properly for your engine is crucial. There is not set stage cam, or set compression that will yield a specific result. I don't have an extremely high compression, or Skunk stage3 (or equivalent) cams, yet I've been extremely impressed with the results so far. Careful planning and research goes a long way.

Re: (PandaHatch)
Nice topic, indeed.
But how did you do your custom ITB's, or where did you buy your ITB's?
Because i've been thinking about to get Toyota 4A-GE 20v silvertop's ITB's and mold those. I could use the toyota's filter at the same time.

Re: (-Gambit-)
I'm personally breaking in my built B20/VTEC (9 c/r) with a DIY Hayabusa setup, it will be boosted soon as well with a custom plenum for the ITBs.
^OH YEA, it will be daily driven.

Sounds like an aftermarket intake.
Unless you're halfway on the gas, theres this sound of air being sucked.
