picked up a hatch finally!
well long story short i traded my h22 swapped 94 prelude for this 96 hatch with a 99-00 front end. im liking it so far, besides the fact that its incredibly slower than my prelude lol
the hatch has some ebay parts on it now but im in the process of replacing them.
comments and criticism welcome!
here is my old prelude.
and here is the hatch.
i have a bunch of plans for it. just a clean start.

Generally I dont like hatches, but I like any 99-00 front EK more than any 4th gen Prelude. Good trade for you.
I imagine since it has rear discs added, there is something better than a D16Y7 under it?
In the end, what can you really do? You'll replace the ebay rep CTR parts with OEM CTR parts, and the car will still look the same as it does now; which is also the same as 95% of the EK hatches here.

Idk, it wasn't installed that well.. Maybe I will go with like 15% or something. It's just to dark.

Re: picked up a hatch finally!
I wouldnt have traded an H deuce deuce swapped Prelude for a SOHC hatch lol, I hope he put cash on top.
The hatch looks decent. It definitely has potential, specially after removing the cluster mods, fake lip, and going back to OE head lights+tail lights.
Good luck though! Nice pictures too.

Re: picked up a hatch finally!
I like them both. Just need to do some de-ricing on the hatch and you are good to go. It's in really good shape. I love the wheels. Is the suspension adjustable? If so I'd raise it a little bit. The headlights are nice, but I'd put the OEM tails back on. Interior is clean, just change out the cluster. Good find, and good luck with the build.

Re: picked up a hatch finally!
thanks, i still wanna change a few things.
i dont take it as dissing really. just some criticism. i honestly could care less about what people think. its just interesting to hear what people would do if it was there car.
yeah i dont have oem head or tail lights yet. still looking for a decent set and the cluster will be changed soon as well. prolly just gonna get an si cluster and call it a day.
ummm it was decent. paint was not good and had a lot of little dings. plus needed quiet a bit of work.
