Re: myrtle beach = rice capital of the world??? (rewsnaeht)
i was going to chime in and say that orlando or california probably had way more rice than myrtle beach could fit in its city, but then i realized "why would i or anyone want to claim to have more rice", so i will let u say myrtle beach has the most.
oh and the south isnt the only place with pep boys' and similar stores

Makes it alot easier for the people want the "stock" looks and JDM profomance ect ect to fix up there cars ..
the reason for the rice is that their are no shops, stores or people that import good stuff .. most of them are just trying to make a buck so they bring in the cheeper stuff .. sucks for us that have to wait for all the good stuff to come from cali!!!

a few of them had tires that looked like 60 inchers... i don't know if that's what they were, but they were big.
i was sitting at a redlight on my way to my hotel and i looked in my rearview mirror and i could completely see under the truck behind me. that was scarry.
the tires themselves were as high as my car.
it seems like anything there is legal.... </TD></TR></TABLE>
Nah, believe it or not, most of those guys DO actually follow the laws regarding lift and tire size. The tires you saw were prolly 44s, biggest allowed on the street, maybe 48s, which you can get by with sometimes. But most of them run legal tires and do all the necessary stuff like lower headlights and drop bumpers, etc.
I know all this cuz I've spent the past 2 years helping my best friend build his '83 bronco, so if any of you see an orange bronco on 44s at myrtle beach, tell the guy drivin it his trucks too small.
Edit: Hatch-N-Si, how many people from team rush do you know, and how well?

I went this summer and was sitting at a bar that was right on the strip when i saw this phat *** 96+ Civic Coupe, the graphics where unreal. They said Turbonetics all up the side of the car, it really did look good. I jumped down off of the the bar and ran out to the street. I asked him to let us here the turbo spool up and the damn car wasn't even turbo. We roasted him after we saw that! I agree that it is the ricer capital!

Lol..it's always some off the wall trend somewhere. Around DC it's B-body galore, vics, caprices and impalas every where. When i was in South Carolina all i saw was Mustangs everywhere, just riced out with euro's body kits, bling bling rims etc..etc.
