Emo Kyle is Back! Crx - God's Chariot I can Haz?!
So yea if you know me in person you know that since January I have been car-less and it's been bumming me out something major. I miss playing with fwd hondas, it's fun to me. Anyways, Today I finally got back in the game and I must say I'm so stoked to be back...
91 Crx DX 5 speed, I paid 1,000 for her
She needs some good tlc but I'm willing to put everything into it, it's going to sit until I find some knuckles and new brake parts for it, and get an alignment for it, the wheel bearings and the axles are making a lot of noise
here are some crappy pics
future plans include redoing the whole interior and painting the exterior alpine white with black moldings and a type r swap with any nice wheel 15 x 7 or 7.5, and every sway bar and a victory x bar in the back, you know the works
and just so you know here's a couple shots of my old project
this is my old 91 si hatch, b16 with ys1 lsd tranny, intake, 4-1 header, and an hks exhaust, such a blast to drive, one of the cleanest si's ever! and i regret selling it
I had the cd player in the glove box for stealth mode, anti thieves!, pretty cool thing to do, back in the day i was the first person to do this i think
and my old teg and an 89 si hatch i bought as a shell and pieced together, i sold both of these last year
I will never sell this crx....ever

eh it's a nice interior for what it is, it's missing the drivers side door panel and glove box, i got a whole 91 si interior going in pretty soon, so i will update pics once the build thread starts

Probably because you claimed you invented the technique of putting a radio in a glovebox. And everyone else was left speechless
Were those the OEM floormats in your red Si? I really need to find a set of those...

those pictures are from 2003 fool, no one in the ef community had really done that, or at least i hadn't seen it, I remember when I made the thread everyone went nuts and it was like 3 pages with people asking tons of questions within a day
and yes they were oem pristine floormats
I sold that car to a guy in Atlanta, who knows where they are now
have you tried hondaautomotiveparts.com ?
