Bay Area: Daily Driven Height
i'm considering slamming my car soon (no fender/wheel gap), but i'm afraid i'll be scraping everywhere. i mostly drive around dublin and union city/fremont.

well...i had my ride dumped on the other side of the bay (SF side)...and couldn't stand it sometimes...i guess it depends on how much you can handle.
DUMPED looks best, tho, in my opinion.

bad news eric, i got a ticket for $351, which was pretty much the money i was going to spend on my drop. so i guess my drop will be postponed.

First off, the slammed look isn't my taste but that's a preference thing. I wouldn't do it for that.
But other than that, it would be a bitch getting around. It probably won't be too much of a problem where you live, but you gotta remember about speed bumps and other unusual things in the road. I'm dropped a couple inches on SportLines and sometimes it feels too low.

my dc5 is slammed. i live in frisco and i drive all over the bay. i guess i can just handle the harsher ride, plus its not too bad, the teins handle it very well. my suggestion is to get a setup thats adjustable so u can raise and lower it to ur preference and maybe even a setup up wuth dampening so u can **** with the stiffness of yo ride!!!

I used to work in fremont,
seemed pretty darned flat/smooth to me man..
**** I've had a slammed car for years(well pretty low at least)
and used to live in the sunset of SF..
now THAT place is gnarly!
but I hung with it,
